Marton Junction School

Welcome to Marton Junction School

Marton Junction School was established in 1923, and is a co-educational full primary school, incorporating Year 0-8, with the only Total Immersion Te Reo Māori Unit in the Rangitikei district – Te Whetu Kahurangi.

There are five classrooms, two of which are Māori Medium, and three in English Medium. We have an attached Community Preschool, which caters to children aged 2-5 years.

We have a school van that provides transport for students that live outside the Junction area, as well as a school bus service for rural students including Bulls.

At Marton Junction, we are very focused on building strong relationships between students, whānau, and school. Each student will have a Mauri Ora - Flourishing Plan of Potential, which is developed based on the strengths and interests of each individual student.
